DiasporaSingles is an app that connects African singles abroad. Africans abroad are usually busy people often times dealing with all the challenges that come with living in foreign lands. Due to this they have limited opportunities for socialization. As a result African singles have diminished chances to meet each other. DiasporaSingles therefore steps in to provide a forum for African singles who seek relationships with their fellow Africans can meet new friends and form lasting relationships. While connecting African singles is the mission of this app, i would like to stress that this forum does not bar any other singles from participating in the forum. The forum is based on mutual likeness of each other. Basically you peruse through images of other users as they come on the screen and swipe right to "like" or swipe left to "dislike" them. If you "like" a user that has "liked" you as well a match is made and a screen opens for you to send a message to that particular user. If you "dislike" a user they are not aware of it. Only users that mutually like each other are matched. This eliminates the fear of rejection. The app uses and excellent Geo-location feature than displays users around starting with those within the closest proximity to you.
