Blynk Homescreen Button One

You have successfully created a Blynk project and would like to use one of the buttons from your home screen directly?

***Only works with Blynk-Cloud for the moment, update which will support local servers will follow soon!***

Installation instructions:

-Prior to installing our app, open your Blynk project and copy the authorization token to the clipboard.

-Install and open our app

-Choose the digital/virtual pin you'd like to control, status will be indicated with the wide rectangle

-Choose button style, the following styles are available:

--Switch (on/off): each click turns the connected pin on or off alternately

--Pushbutton: a click turns the connected pin on for the specified amount of time and changes back to off

--Click duration (ms): specifies the duration of the Pushbutton click in Miliseconds, this will only be shown when Pushbutton is selected as button style

-Choose status pin: shows status of a second digital pin, the circular indicator on the left will be used

-Status listener timeout (s): to avoid battery drain, the button widget listens for the selected time (seconds) after a click to a possible status change coming from the server.

-Blynk-Server: do not change the default settings, local server will be supported in a future release

-Token: insert the authorization token provided by our Blynk project, it should be stored in your clipboard if you've followed the instructions ;-)

Next, click the "Save" button and the app will try to connect with your hardware, if communication fails, the setting screen will stay open so you can make changes.

If connection was successful, your settings will be saved and the settings screen gets closed, you can proceed with installing the "1 BlynkHomeButton" Widget and you're ready to go!

Functionality:

Since long click on a widget is reserved for drag and drop, the Switch button style works like a switch:

-one click turns it on

-the next click turns it off

If you only need a short click for your pin, choose Pushbutton style and select the desired click duration.

The rectangle status indicator shows the actual feedback coming from the Blynk server for the button pin.

The circular status indicator shows the actual feedback for a second digital pin.

Depending on your network connectivity there might be a small lag, same as when you're using the Blynk app.
