This is the story of Iktomi, the God of Trickery and Protector of Dreams.
With his power, He created the Dreamcatcher, to keep nightmares at bay.
However, recently there has been a breakout of nightmares, and all Dreamcatchers have mysteriously been broken.
So it's up to Iktomi to stop every nightmare before they reach the dreamer's mind. But because he's busy with the bigger Nightmares, he asked his friends, the Fireflies, for help.
