SOGB Gas Ltd. was established by Chief (Dr) Sunday Ogbomo, an entrepreneur known for his business start-up and business growth characteristics, the company initially started by installing a LPG Storage and Filling Plant in Benin City, Edo State, 317 Kilometres from Lagos in March 2013. The plant is ideally located to cater for the demand of LPG in the Western, Southern and Eastern areas of Nigeria. The Plant was started with a storage capacity of 30 Metric Tons, which has since been enhanced to 60 Metric Tons with a provision of expanding to 500 Metric Tons in due course. It has a filling capacity of 30 Metric Tons per day and can meet demand of customers in this area.

As part of our expansion plan, SOGB Gas have proposed sites at key strategic locations to build Storage and filling plants. These plants will be established to cater for the growing needs of LPG gas and will become operational in the near future. We have also plans to set up automobile dispensing units all over the Country.

SOGB Gas Ltd. also has facilities for transportation of LPG in bulk from the production plant to the filling plants through large tank lorries (LPG Bousers) and has a fleet of bousers each over 20 tons in capacity. SOGB Gas Ltd has appointed a number of reputable dealers to ensure equitable distribution of LPG in the country especially in areas where wood is being used as an alternate fuel. The aim is to reduce deforestation in these areas promoting a greener alternate for the environment
