SMS Contexter is a texting app that allows you to set context to your SMS text messages. Is your message about love, anger, work or video games? SMS Contexter sets context of incoming, outgoing and stored text messages. Customizable icons, message backgrounds and even contextual ringtones will help you prioritize and recognize message content with ease.

Integrates seamlessly with the stock texting app on your phone. Use it as a standalone, primary or secondary texting app. If you are like me though, SMS Contexter is the only way you will want to text.

Personally, I really enjoy having SMS Contexter on my phone. It's cool that when I get a text message, SMS Contexter will play a special ringtone if it recognizes a question, or a love message. It's nice to have an idea what to expect before I even grab my phone to check the message.

How much does he love you? From the main screen, long-tap on a contact and choose "This Contact Stats" to see how many love messages he has sent you this month ;-). Set any date period in the stats page and click on any category of contextual to see all the messages in that stat period for that contextual.

Play and have fun with SMS Contexter. Set the context of a message you send to anyone. "It's sunny" can be happy, sarcastic (actually raining), sad (I get sunburned easily) or whatever. Set the context easily when you send the message and manually change the context of any message with a simple tap on the message. If your contact has SMS Contexter, they will receive the message showing the context you have set.

Experiment....Expecting a baby? Make a special cue ("baby now") for a "Baby" contextual in the hubby's SMS Contexter. Simply send a text with "baby now" in the message and the Baby ringtone will ring with the matching color, icon and message background; works from any other phone! Tons of possibilities.

Fully customizable: Don't like how SMS Contexter recognizes messages? Go to the Contextuals screen, tap on a contextual and change it's cues and emoticons. While you're there, change a contextual's icon, color, ringtone and message background. Add contextuals as you please, SMS Contexter can handle up to 15 contextuals (6 are permanent).

Share your custom contextual list with any contact. Just press 'menu' on your phone and choose to send your key to your friends.

It's not perfect. SMS Contexter won't always detect the context of messages accurately every time. But you can tweak each Contextual's cues and emoticons to suit you. Also, just tap on any message to change or remove its Contextual.
