The LWH Guide app is a new project to improve induction and support for doctors in Obs and Gynae.

Clinical Session Log

Designed to help you to track your clinical experiences and provide reminders for the e-portfolio. The

information you collect is for your own use only. It is not collected or compared centrally.

Session log sends data out in a spreadsheet format ‘Session log.csv’. You can copy the data into your

copy of the Session Analysis spreadsheet available on the Obs & Gynae Doctors intranet site to help you

monitor your clinical experience. You should keep the data in the app to a minimum and send it out at

least weekly.

DATA WITHIN THE SESSION LOG IS NOT SECURE, EITHER WITHIN THE APP OR AS IT IS SENT OUT SO DO

NOT STORE OR SEND PATIENT IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.

Clinical Guidelines:

Relevant quick reference versions are available on the App. Full guidelines are available on the ‘CLINICAL

GUIDELINES’ intranet site.

Handbook

Practical information including summaries of the IT handbooks, standard operating procedures and

referral criteria. The handbook is also available in pdf format on the Obs & Gynae Doctors intranet site

Forms:

The medical equipment competency forms can be completed within the app and sent to LWH Guide

automatically by email. Completing and sending the form is regarded by the Trust as the equivalent of

completing the paper version.
