CROPNUTS Pengumpulan Sampel App

Our CROPNUTS sample collection app is a mobile phone solution for our customers and field agents to be able to collect and login samples of soil, water, leaf, nematode or plant disease. It can be be used on smart phones and tablets, and even works offline in an effort to simplify sampling in remote areas where there is no internet connectivity. For maximum flexibility, samples can be labelled either in the field (on farm) or in your office (off farm). The application allows our customers and agents (field agents, agro -dealers and commercial agents) to collect all the field data needed for each sample, including the farmer, farm and field details, crop and water source information. The user can also label the sample for the specific type of analysis they require, and the price for each analysis is displayed. Whilst labeling in the field, a GPS point will be taken at each sample location, and a photo to capture additional useful information. The bar coding function means that sample bags are tracked throughout the process, from field to lab, ensuring no sample mix-ups and quicker processing time in our ISO17025 Accredited laboratory in Nairobi. Once the samples are labelled, the sample Order Form can be viewed, indicating the amount to pay. Payment can then be processed using MPESA, after which samples are shipped to laboratory for analysis. Our Customer Support team can track the shipping of each sample to our lab, to ensure its received on time and analyzed in the shortest time possible. Fertilizer recommendations are then send back to farmers and agents via SMS.
