পবিত্র কুরআনে আল্লাহ্ তায়ালা যে সমস্ত ঘটনা উল্লেখ করেছেন, তার প্রত্যেকটি ঘটনাতেই আমাদের জন্য অনেক শিক্ষণীয় বিষয় রয়েছে। কিন্তু আমাদের অনেকেই সেই ঘটনাগুলো এমনভাবে উপস্থাপন করেন, যাতে শিক্ষণীয় বস্তুগুলো সুস্পষ্ট হয়ে উঠে না। বক্তাগণ এ সমস্ত ঘটনা বলে শ্রোতাদেরকে কখনও হাসান আবার কখনও কাঁদান ঠিকই, কিন্তু যেই উদ্দেশ্যে মহান আল্লাহ্ ঘটনাগুলো উল্লেখ করেছেন, সেই সুমহান উদ্দেশ্যগুলো অনেক ক্ষেত্রে অস্পষ্টই থেকে যায়।

আসুন আমরা তাফসীরে ইবনে কাছীর ও কাসাসুল কুরআনের আলোকে এই শিক্ষণীয় ঘটনা এবং তার শিক্ষণীয় বিষয়গুলো জেনে নেই।
