You spend coins at any of the three Apple machines located in the hotel to get apples. Eat apples to keep hunger under control, and watch for a small apple thief that loves to grab them if you leave apples unattended.

Hostile threats and traps

Maniacs wander dark hallways and will hurt you on contact. Traps can also injure you, and some can be disarmed if you notice them in time, so steady movement and attention help you avoid damage.
