Hanafuda by Tamaki is an Okinawa-rules card game for a phone or tablet.
Play on your own against bots, or host a room and invite friends with a code. A match can run to 500 points, 1000 points, 5 rounds, 10 rounds, or with no limit. The highest score wins.
On your turn, play one card from your hand. If a card of the same month is on the table, you capture it. Then draw from the mountain and play that card the same way. Scoring cards stay in your claim. Plain cards go to your kasu pile.
At the end of each round, points come from the cards you captured and from any yaku you hold: Boar, Deer, and Butterflies; Three Red Tanzaku; Three Blue Tanzaku; and Three Poetry Tanzaku. Each yaku is paid by the other players. Scores carry from round to round.
Your hand stays face up. Everyone else plays from a closed hand. The table shows whose turn it is, the cards in play, and the running score.
