Behind your favorite band, sports team, beverage and app, there’s a graphic designer at work. From tour graphics to team uniforms, and product packaging to mobile technology, the work of graphic designers touches you every day.

As a graphic design major at Ringling, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the design thinking process and apply it to a broad spectrum of 2D, 3D and screen-based media. You’ll learn strategies for creating concepts, arranging compositions and designing interfaces that will entice, provoke, inform and delight the user. You’ll collaborate with photographers, copywriters, illustrators, printers and developers to make ideas visible.

Graphic Design is a diverse, dynamic and flexible field. You can specialize in branding, packaging or interactive design. You can join a tech company or start your own design firm.
