The Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) are instruments that support medical decisions, which have been systematically developed with the objective of optimizing health care under specific clinical circumstances.

CPGs are a set of recommendations developed systematically to help professionals and patients make decisions about the most appropriate health care and to select the most appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic options when addressing a health problem or a specific clinical condition.

The CPGs respond to the need for concise, reliable, truthful and updated information; Its implementation guides the clinical care processes towards greater consistency and efficiency (3) and its development aims to resolve the uncertainty and ignorance of doctors about the diversity of clinical management.

In this version, the implementation of recommendations for the use of blood components is integrated into the GPC app.
