GO Retail Device Manager

Device Manager for Go Retail on Cloud by Entersoft

Device Manager is a companion app for Go Retail on Cloud, Entersoft's

retail point-of-sale platform. Go Retail runs as a web application, and

browsers cannot talk directly to the peripherals a shop counter depends

on. Device Manager bridges that gap: it runs a local service on your

Android device and gives Go Retail a secure channel to the hardware

connected to it.

This app is intended for existing Go Retail on Cloud customers. A valid

Go Retail subscription is required — the app has no standalone

functionality on its own.

WHAT IT DOES

Device Manager runs a local server on the device and exposes the

connected peripherals to the Go Retail web application. When a cashier

completes a sale, prints a receipt, weighs an item or takes a card

payment, Go Retail sends the request to Device Manager, which forwards

it to the correct device and returns the response.
