GhostKey™ is built on the philosophy that we all have engraved memories, tastes, and preferences that are unique to us. They are more secure than our biometrics, which are not secrets in themselves.

GhostKey™ provides three unique benefits over other password systems: security, simplicity, and enjoyment.

Security:

People used to memorize passwords or write them on a piece of paper. Current password managers convert that piece of paper into a digital form that needs to be protected, copied, and synchronized. GhostKey™ gets rid of that paper forever. It does not store any password or connect to any other machine. Instead, it computes passwords based on your memories, uses these to log you in, and then erases the computed passwords.

Because of the unique way that GhostKey™ works, it isn't vulnerable to brute force attacks in the same way as other password managers. GhostKey™ don't validate the results, so If the wrong memento is entered the computed a password is wrong. Each password GhostKey™ generates has a 118-bit entropy, which takes 63 billion years to crack, and each application or website has a different password, making your security virtually unbreakable.

Simplicity:

GhostKey™ was designed to disappear. We’ve reduced the number of touches to the bare minimum, speeding up your login experience. Instead of inventing passwords, you use existing memories, which we call Flashbacks and Mementos. A Flashback is entered once per device, while a memento is entered every time you log in. Using a Visual Memento renders the login experience as fast as using biometrics.

GhostKey™ is designed to be enjoyable as well as fast and secure. You log in using a combination of your favorite memories and photos chosen from a gallery of 300 beautiful images. Instead of enduring frustrations and anxiety, you'll enjoy logging in and out, because each time you do you will be reliving your special experiences.

GhostKey™ uses Accessibility permission to detect URLs in browsers. Accessibility is not used in other apps. The URL detection is required to provide automatic anti-phishing. These URLs are never stored on the device or transmitted outside the device.
