Quickfire rules
German Whist is played in two phases: first you play tricks while drawing from the deck and competing for the upturned card; then you play out the final hands to win tricks in the endgame. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise they may play any card, including trump. Points are awarded based on tricks won beyond the threshold for your chosen scoring mode.

Thanks for playing German Whist — here's what's new in this update:
- Four-colour deck: clearer suits at a glance with four suit colours.
- Mobile cards on all devices: thinner cards with larger numbers, now available everywhere.
- New card faces: fresh designs with improved contrast to accommodate the other changes.
- AutoPlay: plays a card for you when there's only one legal move (and on the final trick).
- Claim: claim the remaining tricks when all remaining cards are guaranteed winners.
