GABRIO - The painter of the PO

Incumbent, present, who is born on its shores has marked fate, chromosomes that bind closely to the poplar groves, floodplains, cuckoos, silent nights. The Po is an element that cannot be renounced, inspires fear, is loved, feared, accepted. This I think Gabrio thinks in his wandering through the mind that has a firm, quick step between one canvas and another. Written destiny, luxury genome, brush dipped in water that seems blessed by the great river. And so the artist sets the imagination in motion to make the gray of autumn days colorful, foggy, bathed by inconsistent drizzle that makes the landscape around uniform. Bright, vivid colors are needed to keep alive the life that seems to go in slow motion in a seasonal and viral laziness. And then Vicentini's works are transferred into a kaleidoscope that the viewer observes with renewed curiosity when each grain of sand imprinted on the canvas is a tiny planet that orbits the imagination, so close to the dream.
