• Place your WAD files in the Freedoom/config/wads folder.
• From the main screen, open Addons, then WADS, and pick the file you want.

• Start a new game to enter the selected custom level.
• If a level replaces a later map, use a warp command or launch argument to reach it.

Engine compatibility and mod loading

Freedoom is a fork of the GZDoom Android port and works with many fan made levels from the idgames archive. Full game IWADs should be placed in Freedoom/config next to freedoom1.wad and freedoom2.wad. Game mods belong in Freedoom/config/mods. Compatibility depends on the specific WAD or mod and your device.
