Now it is finally possible for handball trainers to use the AT exercises database during training and thereby show exercises for the players or let the trainers be inspired during training. DHF has in collaboration with BridgeIT made an app for Android based on age-related training.

Using the app, The Danish Handball Association wants to optimize training and activities for training children and thereby optimize the danish handball talent development. The content of the app is developed in collaboration with Team Danmark.

In order to have a easily accessible material for all trainers teaching, there has been an online exercises database on the website dhf.dk and the apps content is based on that. The app contains specific exercises for the age groups U-6 to U-14. The exercises are split into categories (defense, attack, technique, physical training etc.).

It is important to remember, that the exercises are there to inspire, so read them and trim them for your team. It could be relevant to sometimes select exercises from younger or older age groups.

Using the app, it is possible to create the team(s) you are training and using the calendar functionality you can plan training sessions for as long in the future as needed.

The training sessions are made using either the preinstalled exercises and/or the exercises the trainer can describe him-/her-self and add to the catalogue.

The Danish Handball Association wishes to deliver the following messages to the hard working handball trainers throughout the country:

-Create as many active (ball focused) situations for the individual player.

-Create a feeling of safety and joyful experiences for everybody.

-Prioritize the physical training - also for the youngest age groups.
