Ascend!

The basics of Ascend! are simple: you start with a 4x4 board, filled with pieces of randomized number values, one through five. Drag your finger across a row or series of the same number, which will cause them to merge into one piece of the next highest number. For example, if you were to drag your finger across three one-pieces, they would combine to form one two-piece. Then, new blocks of randomized number values fall in to fill the space left behind. The higher the number values of the blocks you combine, the higher their combined block will be. Once you combine three five-blocks (the highest numerical value), they will combine to form a “special block.” Gameplay continues until there are no more possible combinations on the board, which is game over.
