File Date Fixer

When you change phones, restore backups, or copy photos through a PC, the file modified date may change to the copy date.

Many gallery apps sort photos by the modified date, so old photos may appear as if they were newly taken.

File Date Fixer is a tool that fixes file modified dates based on the shooting date stored in Exif metadata.

・Check the time difference between modified date and Exif date

About automatic fixing:

Automatic fixing is available only for image files whose Exif shooting date can be read.

Files without Exif dates, or files whose Exif data cannot be read, are not eligible for automatic fixing.

For those files, you can use manual fixing to set any date and time.

Notes:

・This app changes file modified dates.

・This app does not rewrite image data or Exif metadata.

・Depending on your Android version, device behavior, or file location, additional permission may be required.

・It may take some time for gallery apps to reflect the changes.
