CONTEXT:
In the future, large corporations control the world under a single global government. It was then when a space probe contacted the elders, an alien race, they were clear and direct, they wanted to control the government of the planet in exchange for prosperity and peace.
This supposed a political imbalance, on the one hand were the supporters to collaborate with this race, and on the other those who distrusted their good intentions. The peaceful demonstrations turned into violent confrontations. Political tension led to the independence of several regions that were not in favor of the position of global government.
When the aliens supported the government directly with their technology and peacekeeping troops, their position and intentions became clear, there is no turning back. Nuclear missiles and weapons of mass destruction were used by all regions. There is no hope, there is no future.
