RTSC Making a Difference

The 5th Annual Making a Difference Conference for:

SESPs, Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Caregivers, and the Professionals Who Serve Them

Recruitment, Training and Support Center (RTSC) is a project of the Federation for Children with Special Needs funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Our mission is to ensure that every eligible child in he care or custody of the state receives the educational supports he or she needs to succeed. We recruit volunteers from across the state and provide them with the training and support they need to be effective Special Education Surrogate Parents (SESPs). SESP are special education decision makers acting behalf of the student with all of the rights and authority of a parent in matters of special education.
