Knight Chef is an Indian "food on demand" company that was incorporated in 2015. Owned by GoodLife Ventures India Pvt. Ltd.

Knight Chef operates in Navi Mumbai and takes customer orders via its mobile app. It is the only vertically integrated food business in India and operates all three stages of a "food on demand" business: ordering, distribution and order fulfillment.

Knight Chef receives 200 orders a day across Navi Mumbai and has recorded a growth rate of 20-25 per cent month-on-month.

What’s the big question?

We did a massive market research (which means, we asked about 100 people a question - given our laziness, that’s a big number). We wanted to understand what is this one question that young people around Navi Mumbai ask the maximum number of times in the course of a day.

Knight Chef exists to answer that question: # what’s ready to eat?

Well, we were happy to learn that, because that’s the question Knight Chef tries to answer all the time. You can say, the pursuit of our little company is simply giving you delicious answers, throughout the day, from 11:30 AM to 03:30 AM, whenever you ask that question, “what’s ready to eat?”
