Ex-libris is your library in your pocket, with your friends' libraries right next to it.
SCAN YOUR BOOKS
Point the camera at the barcodes: books are added one after another, without closing the camera. A book inventaire.io doesn't know yet? Create it in a few fields, with a photo of its cover.
FILE THEM ON YOUR SHELVES
Find your books on shelves drawn from their covers. "Ranger mes livres" lets you drag them from one shelf to another, and nothing is saved until you say so.
SEARCH FOR ANY BOOK
One field searches your books, your friends' books and the whole inventaire.io catalogue: works, editions and authors.
BUILD A NETWORK OF READERS
Invite your friends, see what they have just shelved, and browse the shelves they share.
JOIN GROUPS
A book club, a family, a team: join a group, answer an invitation, or start your own and invite people to it.
MAKE LISTS
Books you want to read, favourites, a bibliography: gather works and authors into lists.
FREE AND OPEN
Ex-libris is built on inventaire.io, a free and collaborative project whose bibliographic data is open. Your Ex-libris account is an inventaire.io account: you can also use it on the web.
Free, with no ads.

A list opens on its covers, in a scrolling strip: comment on each book, add one by searching or scanning it, move it to another list. “Editions” can be filtered by language. An ISBN typed in Search opens its edition directly.
