Sangeet Sadhana Mandir

Sangeet Sadhana Mandir es un centro de formación clásica indostánica Música.

Sangeet Sadhana Mandir is a Classical Hindustani Music training centre that has trained thousands of musicians for our Nation India from the year 1955. This music centre was initiated by Rev. Fr. Edmond OFM, Cap. at Mussoorie, Uttarakhanda's Summer Music Course. Then it was passionately taken over by Rev. Fr. Vijay Anand of Allahabad Diocese in the year 1960. In 1969 he bought a piece of land in Pachmarhi and started to train people in Classical Hindustani Music and got Sangeet Sadhana Mandir affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Till 2005 he did this wonder mission, after which Rev. Fr. Stany of Allahabad succeeded. In 2011 the Diocese of Allahabad gave the Centre to the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India and appointed Rev. Fr. Vijay Shanthiraj of Varnasi for 4 years and then Rev. Fr. Panner Selvam of Salem, Tamil Nadu is the Director from 2014.
