To further improve performance when network throughput is limited the latest standards for reducing overhead are implemented (Robust Header Compression v2). This allows for for up to 97% header compression rates.

Streaming multimedia support: The special characteristics of streaming multimedia is supported using the standardized Internet protocol DTLS over UDP.

Columbitech Mobile VPN is the only mobile VPN validated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and is FIPS 140-2 certified. This provides military grade security with up to 256-bit AES encryption, ensuring complete compliance with wireless requirements such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc. With a software only end-to-end solution, you will also get a very cost-effective approach to keeping up to date with requirements, without changing any hardware components.

PKI support is built in to the solution but also other authentication methods are supported, making it possible to integrate the VPN with the preferred method.
