BeachWagon is currently available in Surf City, Ship Bottom, and Brant Beach on Long Beach Island.

Our service is operated by locals who have custom made carts affixed to the back of their bicycles called Wagon Drivers. When a user books a trip a Wagon Driver arrives at the selected pick up location in a very short amount of time.

BeachWagon allows users to get their stuff to the beach as fast as possible. When logged into BeachWagon, a user selects where he or she would like to have a Wagon Driver pick-up his or her beach gear. Then, the user selects where the Wagon Driver should drop-off the beach gear. The user then fills in a desired phone number to be texted at, and can optionally include a personal message to the Wagon Driver before arriving to the pick-up location. Last, the user books the trip. Our Wagon Drivers are always active, so expect one at your pickup location within a very short period of time.

The application allows four methods for a users to select a location to pickup or drop off their beach gear.

The 4 methods are as followed:

1.) “Set to My Marker”: Users can select the location of their desired pick-up and drop-off location by using the red dragable pin over the map.

2.) “Set to My Current Location”: Users can set their pick-up and drop- off location to their current location, determined by GPS.

3.) “Type in Address”: Users can type in their address in the search bar and select the correct address from the drop down menu.

4.) “Select a Beach”: Users can select a desired beach to have their beach gear either picked-up from or dropped-off at.

We always and eagerly make accommodations for personal requests. Just include your desired accommodations in the “Note for Wagon Driver” section.

BeachWagon aims to make getting to the beach as stress-free as possible. We know how burdensome the journey to the beach on LBI can be; especially with the recent beach replenishment projects after hurricane Sandy.
