First Aid means the recognition of and immediate care for injury or sudden illness prior to the availability of emergency medical care by licensed or certified health care professionals.

First Aid means the treatment of minor injuries which do not need treatment by a medical practitioner or nurse, as well as treatment of more serious injuries prior to assistance from a medical practitioner or nurse for the purpose of preserving life and minimising the consequences of injury or illness. First Aid does not generally include giving tablets or medicines to treat illness.

First Aid means one-time treatment, and any follow up, of minor scratches, cuts, burns, splinters, or other minor injuries which do not ordinarily require medical care.

The Incident will provide first aid to Contract personnel when needs arise in an emergency situation.. See Contractor furnished Property/Services regarding accidents and illness is called first aid.
