The Austrian family business Plasser & Theurer stands for efficiency and innovation in track construction and employs around 1,900 people. Since 1953, the company has delivered around 16,000 machines to 109 countries. Most of these are produced at the main plant in Linz.

The machine program covers almost all operations that are required for the maintenance and reconstruction of railway tracks. It ranges from the simplest stuffing machines up to 200 m long high-performance machines. As a full-service provider, we provide comprehensive aftersales services in cooperation with 19 worldwide partner companies: training, spare parts supply and technical service. Plasser & Theurer recently demonstrated its role as technology leader on the world market for track construction machines with the introduction of the first fully electric tamping machine.
