EchoTrace is a behavior sensing tool developed by Vibrent Health for researchers, such as the ABCD (Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development) study. It is intended to be used by individuals who have already consented to participate in these ongoing research studies.
Full access to the app will only be provided to eligible participants who enroll in the voluntary research study.
EchoTrace can collect following contexts and sensor data, while the app is in the background:
- Movement Habits – by using Geolocation and Device motion
- Device Usage Habits – by using Charging state and Screen state
- Stress detection – by using Physiological data supported by connected sensors
- Environment and Mood Disrupters – by using Ambient Sound from the device’s audio and connected sensors
