Easy Video Recorder

When recording, the app always shows a persistent notification that the camera and microphone are in use. You stay in control: you start and stop recording, and the notification is always visible.

Easy Video Recorder is a camera app for personal use. It lets you record video while using other apps - for example for vlogs, timelapses, or hands-free recording. It is not for monitoring others.

KEY POINTS

• Persistent notification: While the camera and microphone are active, a notification is always shown: "Camera and microphone are recording" and "Video and audio are being captured. Tap to open app." You cannot miss that recording is on.

• Your data stays on your device: All recordings are saved locally. The app does not upload or share anything unless you explicitly turn on "Auto Upload to Drive" OR "Auto Upload to Dropbox" in the app settings and sign in to your own Google Drive OR Dropbox account.

• You are in control: You choose when to start and stop recording. There is no hidden or disguised mode. The app appears under its real name (Easy Video Recorder) with a single, clear app icon.

Videos are stored in your chosen folder (e.g. Movies/BVR or app storage). If you enable in settings, only then will finished recordings be uploaded to your linked Google Drive OR Dropbox account. Easy Video Recorder is designed to be simple and transparent for everyday personal recording.

Accessibility Service Usage:

This app uses the AccessibilityService API to enable a custom hardware button shortcut feature.

Why we use Accessibility Service:

The Accessibility Service is used to detect user-defined hardware button actions (such as pressing the Volume Up button multiple times) to quickly start/stop video recording.

How it is used:

- Detect multiple presses of the Volume Up button (e.g., triple press)

- Trigger video recording based on user-configured shortcut

- Allow quick recording without opening the app

What we DO NOT do:

- We do NOT collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data

- We do NOT read screen content, messages, or passwords

- We do NOT monitor user activity

- We do NOT interfere with system settings or other apps

User Control & Transparency:

- This feature is completely optional and disabled by default

- Users must manually enable Accessibility permission

- Users can disable it anytime from device settings

This feature helps users quickly start/stop recording in situations where manual interaction is not possible

Important:

This app does NOT use Accessibility Service to bypass Android security, record audio, or perform any unauthorised actions.

Users are responsible for complying with local laws and obtaining consent where required before recording.
