✠ Embark on a Quest...

The knights have met, and the decision to overthrow the king is discussed. Treason it may be, but the great king has been dabbling in magic- a dangerous feat which has been banned for centuries after the practice brought on the great plague. Before another cataclysmic event can unfold, this man and his obsession with power and how to accumulate it, must be dethroned. As you and your fellow knights plan your attack far from the castle, you are pleased with the strategy. On the morning of the storming of the castle, the ground starts trembling and with every passing minute the quake becomes stronger. The castle is crumbling all around you, and your only option is to flee and forget the battle plan. Stone archways crumple, and large stones slam to the ground, blocking exits and trapping many of your fellow knights in rooms with no hope of survival. You cannot afford to look back lest your own fate be similarly sealed. Surviving with your life, you see not many others are so lucky. The lands are devoid of life. Not only was the castle destroyed, villages all around have caved in, sealing their inhabitants to the same fate as those within the castle walls.
