What does it include?

DNA Report:

Learn your risk of obesity or collagen degradation, for example, and how sensitive your nutritional and skin health might be to the effects of calories, eyelid sagging, fat, hydration retention, carbohydrates, deep wrinkles, sugar, photoaging, and salt.

Scan:

Scan the barcodes of food, drink, or skincare products using your phone’s camera or the DnaBean. Every time you scan a barcode, our algorithms look at thousands of ‘parameters’ to deliver a precise recommendation based on your DNA.

The DnaBean:

The DnaBean is a wearable DNA-based product recommendation device. The Bean works in the same way as your DnaNudge App: you can scan product barcodes using the DnaBean’s built-in camera to instantly find out if the product is suited to your genetic profile. Green is good and red - not so good.

Activity/Inactivity Monitor:

Your DnaBean also relates sitting time to nutrition/skin health via your DNA, therefore introducing your lifestyle into product recommendations. It can help you set goals to sit less throughout the day and encourage you to move more. If you do not reach your goals, your product recommendations will change from green to amber.

NudgeShare:

Through NudgeShare, our technology can help you connect and shop for the healthiest choices for your family and friends. Fuss-free assurance that you’re shopping the right way for your family and friend’s DNA.

NudgeMatch:

NudgeMatch is a way to connect with other DnaNudge users through your DnaBean. See how similar or dissimilar you are to your friends and family by connecting in-person to see your percentage match.

NudgeNetwork:

Find your people and be confident on the new NudgeNetwork feature in the App. Build your own personalised health community to connect with your NudgeMatches. Make recommendations through instant messaging, see each other’s Green Activity Bar and find your Famous Favourites – Find the encouragement from your personalised NudgeNetwork to keep your DNA green!

Nudges:

DnaNudge is designed to work alongside your normal shopping patterns. This means, if you’ve decided you want crisps, instead of telling you not to have them, DnaNudge will suggest alternative crisps that would be better suited to your genetic make-up.

These ‘nudges’ help you navigate everyday choices. Over time, these small changes will help you make a significant step towards better health—all without having to give up your favourite treats.

For example, let’s imagine you LOVE cereal. Our tech will give you a DNA-based ‘nudge’ to buy a packet with fewer calories or less sugar. Within a year, this simple swap could result in a 7kg reduction in sugar consumption – that’s almost 1788 teaspoons of sugar!
