Dicta is an intuitively designed dictaphone app that works like you expect it to. Hit record, dictate your audio note or voice journal entry, then replay it at your leisure.

‣ Recordings are organised in an easy-to-navigate, date-sorted list that displays the date and time of the recording, and the duration of the recorded item.

‣ High-quality audio recording from your device's microphone: We were tired of telephone-quality recordings from other free voice recorders, so the highest quality audio that your device supports is used by default.

‣ Efficient Use of Storage: Files are kept small by compression after-the-fact so your device won't fill up with bloated audio files.

‣ No login required: Created to provide a way to record personal audio notes and to keep them on the same device, not only do you not need to login, but you can't! We don't think that your recordings are anyone's business but yours.

‣ Offline Recording Anywhere: All audio files remain on your device and are never uploaded anywhere, so you don't need an internet connection to use it.
