The Scottish Social Services Council developed this App for members of the social service workforce who have regular contact with people who are living with dementia. People living with dementia and carers of people with dementia may also find this App useful and informative.
“Understanding personal outcomes for people living with dementia” is underpinned by the values and principles identified through the Charter of Rights for People with Dementia and their Carers in Scotland (2009), and the Standards of Care for Dementia in Scotland (2011).
This app is intended to provide you with a path to better understanding how social and emotional needs impact on well-being for people with dementia.
