"Safe-Tap", provides a useful utility for end users who are in any situations where they need to interact with their devices discreetly. "Safe-Tap" enables an end user to immediately send notifications or alerts to emergency personnel, friends and/or family through the use of quick taps on the application and application widget located on the locked or home screen. An end user has an option to quickly notify their predefined contact list by text message with the option for an accompanying image, audio or video recording. Along with the messages the user will also send their location.
