You have to create 2 accounts first. MI and MI Fit account. It also asks you about every personal information and needs a lot of permissions. I use a lot of Xiaomi apps, because the phone is a Xiaomi. But this app is the worst i ever have seen. If you are an Amazon Alexa user, then it may be perfect for you. Not for me. Sorry!
