The institution Ladybird group of schools is located in the metropolitan capital city of Cameroon –Yaoundé in the Mvan neighborhood opposite the Ndi Samba University towards the Douala route from the Tropicana roundabout. This environment is conducive, accessible and suitable for pedagogic activities and is void of the buzzing noise of the town center.

Ladybird Group of schools –Yaoundé is an Anglo-Saxon lay private co-educational bilingual institution. It is comprised of.

Preschool section including Pre-nursery which does mostly care for kids of less than 3 years old. Nursery one and two provide preschool education for kids between 4-5 years. And prepare kids for primary education.

The primary section enrolls pupils of 6 years – 12 years in a 6 year program to prepare children for secondary general and technical education and end of course certificate exams notably the competitive entrance Exams into college known as the Government Common Entrance and the certificate examination the First School Leaving Certificate.

The college operates an entirely Anglosaxon sub-system of education. The Secondary section of Ladybird group of schools was conceived with the vision of shaping the society by contributing in modest ways through an education that builds young and morally upright children as future Leaders of integrity, and equipping them with moral values to create an impact on their society with the hope that they bring about positive social, economic and political changes to the Society. The core value of the college relies on the emphasis on discipline through the conscience, professionalism that prompts handwork, teamwork with parents, administration/ teachers and students dubbed Parents students Staff Conference and a consistent follow up of students for better results. On this basis, promotion to a superior class does not get below a 12 average and this assures the academic excellence that we uphold.

Qualified and aptly trained staff is an additional push that makes the college quite credible and reputed for the academic standard. The college has five administrative staff: The Principal, a vice, the discipline master, matron and staff in charge of logistics as well as twenty teaching staff. Out of the total of 26 staff, 22 are trained in professional schools while the have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the subjects they teach giving a percentage ratio of 84 as against just 14.

There is absolute serenity at the level of the working environment and condition thanks to regular salary flow, professionalism and mutual respect and proper communication that exist between the administration, Staff and management. This majors as one key achievement which prompts the others like discipline, assiduity, professional conscientiousness and proper parental attention to the students who are the main focus. Constant updates to parents on the conducts and comportment of their children with strengthens the academic chain of parents-student-teachers contributes immensely to the attainment of our goal which hinges on our motto of High Moral Standards and academic Excellence. At the dawn of presenting our faint batch of Students for the GCE ordinary level, we are convinced especially by our strategies put in place to produce an exceptional result during the 2017 Ordinary exams. The college exploits every available possibilities to encourage individual talents by promoting extracurricular activities through the creation and coordination of clubs. There are over 7 clubs including the girls’ dub which carters for the special need of girls.
