Voiding diaries are an important part of the evaluation and management of patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). However, occasionally patient adherence to paper based voiding diaries is suboptimal and data is, in some instances, incomplete and of poor quality. Previous electronic-based voiding diaries have had limited success overcoming these shortcomings. Currently, personal mobile devices, either smartphones or tablets, are almost ubiquitous in our society and represent an alternative method of recording a voiding diary.

Daily-P allows both patients and doctors to use the advantages of information technology. Daily-P Pro is targeted at healthcare professionals and allows them to connect with patients and manage voiding diaries.
