CoverScreen OS helps you use foldable cover screens for everyday tasks when the phone is closed or unfolded. It supports Samsung Galaxy Z Flip models, Moto RAZR 40 and Ultra, Vivo X Flip, and OPPO Find N2 and N3 Flip. You can switch between the stock cover experience and this secondary environment with simple navigation. The tutorial inside the app explains setup, and the CoverScreen OS APK focuses on practical use without adding complexity.
Cover launcher and app drawer
CoverScreen OS lets you open almost any app on the cover screen. You can lock orientation to portrait or landscape, search by alphabet, and sort apps by name or recently used. Navigation gestures for back and home help you move between apps smoothly.
Widgets on the cover screen
Add widgets from many third party apps and align them to fit the cover display. Set widgets in two sizes and perform actions like tapping buttons or launching the linked app right from the cover. This provides glanceable information without unfolding the phone.
Quick toggles and Flex Mode
Use quick toggles for Bluetooth, flashlight, and Do Not Disturb. Flex Mode lets you use the cover screen while the phone is unfolded on Z Flip models. Caffeinate can keep the screen awake. You can also create custom toggles with Bixby Routines, Tasker, and other compatible tools.
Notifications, media, and alerts
Reply to notifications with voice, T9, or a full QWERTY keyboard, then open them on the cover or main screen. Access media sessions from different apps, scrub tracks, and use extra controls not present in the stock cover screen. Edge lighting can glow for new alerts on Z Flip models, and a caller ID screen is available for some VoIP apps on the Z Flip series. After you download CoverScreen OS, grant Notification Access and enable the Accessibility Service to use these functions.
CoverScreen OS turns foldable cover displays into practical spaces for apps, widgets, controls, and notifications.
