COSYS POS Non-Food Retail

The COSYS POS Non-Food Demo gives you a comprehensive insight into our POS software solution in retail management. With this solution you record and document all processes of branch management in the warehouse as well as the sales area digitally with smartphones. The intuitive application enables even inexperienced employees to get started quickly and error messages reduce the susceptibility to errors to a minimum.

All POS processes are supported by the non-food retail app, from ordering and receiving goods to inventory and inventory changes to POS surveys and returns. COSYS POS Non-Food is suitable for chain stores in the non-food sector, such as fashion and textile retailers, perfumeries, bed houses, bicycle dealers and many more.

Application of the software modules

All modules work on the basis of barcode scanning, but manual entry of article numbers, EANs and storage locations is always possible. Depending on the module, enter additional information, e.g. B. Store, A and B in a transfer or the quantity for an item in an order.

The non-food app has the COSYS backend in the background, where test master data is stored, as well as test orders and expected delivery (goods receipt). This allows you to test the app with specific articles. In the paid full version, the backend accesses your master data, e.g. B. back from an ERP system.

POS app modules

• Article information: via a barcode scan, display article properties such as price or size, directly on the smartphone.

• Stock inquiry: Search for the current stock of an article via the barcode scan, both across branches and across locations.

• Order: If some articles are out of stock, you can reorder new goods directly on the shelf and transfer them to the ERP system in real time. Alternatively, you can check orders already stored in the ERP system on site.

• Stock transfer: If you see via the inventory request that e.g. For example, if site A has excess stock of an item, you can move that stock to store B. This saves you storage costs and repeat orders.

• Returns: Scan the return and enter a predefined reason for the return via a drop-down menu such as "packaging damaged" or "goods damaged".

• Change in inventory: If a product breaks down in the store or you find an item you thought you had lost, you can send this change in inventory to the ERP system simply by scanning, entering the number and giving a reason.

• Inventory: scan items, enter quantity and transfer data to the ERP system. Other functions such as first counter and second counter or counting station termination are possible.

• Price change: To change the price - up or down - scan the item number or EAN, enter the new retail price and the number of items affected. In the full version you can send the data directly to a printer.

• Pricing: Use this module to print new price tags without changing the price.

• Goods receipt: Record your goods receipt digitally, check the delivery and, if necessary, store photos and signatures that are transmitted to the ERP system.

All COSYS mobile are basically online/offline hybrids. In this way, you record goods even if there is no connection and you can send them to the ERP system automatically or manually when you connect later.
