COP-MODE Apps Retriever (CM-AR

COP-MODE Apps Retriever (CM-AR) is an application of the scientific project COP-MODE (https://cop-mode.dei.uc.pt/).

This app is the first step to participate in a COP-MODE project campaign. Our campaigns are used to collect data related to privacy choices on mobile devices (smartphones). The data we collect during campaigns will be used exclusively for the development of an automatic, context-aware and personalized privacy management mechanism.

If you are interested in participating in a campaign, you should start by installing this app.

The CM-AR application simply collects, with your consent, all the applications that you currently have installed on your smartphone and their respective permissions (example: if you have allowed access to the camera for each of the apps). This list will be sent together with your email to our server, so that we can install the same applications on a smartphone that we will loan you during the campaign.

After collecting the list of apps, we will send an email so you can pick up the smartphone and start the campaign.

At any time, you can ask the COP-MODE team to delete all your data. To do so, just send an email to cop-mode@dei.uc.pt
