ComuniCare allows you to receive alarm messages and / or information from municipal administrations that use the SMSPA application of the Information Systems and to which you have registered. The messages can be the alarms of the Civil Protection, but also other useful information that the Municipality wants to send to its citizens. ComuniCare also allows citizens to send messages to the Municipality.
It is possible to register in several Municipalities of your interest (residency, vacation, work, joint home, etc.).
The App uses the Google Cloud Messaging service, therefore, it receives messages even if it is not active. The App will report the messages between notifications, so clicking on the notification will activate ComuniCare.
The App keeps the last 20 messages.
The Municipality records in the SMSPA system only the data provided during registration, which are limited to: name, mobile phone number, address in the municipality. However, the landline number and an email can be provided.
The App does not access or store any data other than those mentioned above.
