Color Separation Enhancer

This app uses the camera to capture images and stretch the Hue, Saturation and Lightness (HSL) about a set color. Useful for seeing subtle differences in color by enhancing the difference.

Reflections, shadows and changes in lighting across the target region will affect how well the app will work. Uniform diffuse lighting (e.g. a cloudy day) is recommended for best results.

The camera displayed image uses colors which are a subset of the colors the eyes can see. This color subset will vary between devices depending on both the camera and display quality. Not all eyes are equal: age, health and color blindness can affect how well the eyes see and differentiate between colors, therefore expect varying results from this app.
