Code Editor

Code Editor is a multi-tab code and text editor for Android. Open source files with syntax highlighting for 14 languages, keep several files open at once, jot quick notes, and browse your device storage — all in one app.

MULTI-TAB EDITOR

Open multiple files at once and switch between tabs without losing your place. Each tab remembers its scroll position, cursor, and syntax mode.

SYNTAX HIGHLIGHTING — 14 LANGUAGES

Full color syntax support for Python, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Markdown, Bash, CSS, Dart, Java, Kotlin, SQL, YAML, HTML, and plain text. Pick the language per file and the editor highlights it instantly.

QUICK NOTES

Tap the FAB and start writing — no file name needed. Notes auto-save every 30 seconds and on app close. Pin important notes to the top, swipe to delete the rest.

NOTE TEMPLATES

Start writing with 6 built-in templates: Meeting Notes, To-Do, Journal, Letter, Shopping List, and Blank. Tap a template and it's ready to fill in.

FILE BROWSER

Browse your device storage directly in the app. Grant access to any folder once via Android's Storage Access Framework and open, edit, and save files without leaving the editor. Breadcrumb navigation keeps you oriented.

CODING TOOLBAR

One-tap insertion for common code characters — Tab, {}, (), [], ;, :, =, <>, /, |, #, @. Keeps your hands off the system keyboard for brackets and symbols.

FIND & REPLACE

Search through any open file with instant match highlighting. Replace one instance or all at once with a single tap.

WORD & CHARACTER COUNT

A collapsible info bar shows live word count, character count, and line count as you type.

SHARE AS IMAGE

Export your text as a styled screenshot — window chrome, Cosmovex watermark included. Useful for sharing code snippets on social or in chats.

THEMES

Dark, Light, or follow System. No extra setup — picks up your device setting automatically.

REMOVE ADS

One-time purchase removes all banner and interstitial ads permanently.
