Sovereign Share has the most secure technical architecture of any encryption application available today. Your data is encrypted, twice, with the outer symmetric key separated from the data using a Patent Pending encryption protocol. The best part is that it is intuitively built and easy to use!

Think of those old movies where you need two people with the missile keys to activate at the same time... Your data, even if it were intercepted, doesn't contain the information required to unlock it like traditional encryption protocols. It requires the encrypted data and a separate key which is delivered to the recipient at the moment they decide to view the data you sent. Every minuscule detail, every technical facet of the application was designed with security at the core.

Current Features:

1.) Send encrypted messages to your trusted contacts via SMS/MMS

2.) Send encrypted files (pictures, pdfs, zips, etc...)

3.) Set a limit on the number of views a message can have (EX: Setting the limit to 1 will only allow the recipient 1 view of the message

4.) Set an expiration date/time when the message will become unavailable

5.) Receive and decrypt messages via SMS/MMS

6.) Receive and decrypt files

7.) Revoke access to a specific text message (revoking picture/file messages on demand coming soon as well!)

1.) View the status of a message you sent (decrypted or not)

The following permissions are only used if you choose to enable push notifications of contact requests

c2dm.permission.RECEIVE - Used to *optionally* receive push notifications of new contact requests

GET_ACCOUNTS - Also required for push notifications

WAKE_LOCK - Required to handle the push notification

The following permissions are used for the core functionality of the app

INTERNET - Used to make web service calls required to get contacts, encrypt and decrypt

READ_SMS - Used to find Sovereign Share messages that are in your SMS/MMS inbox and sent items

READ_CONTACTS - Used to display the name associated with a phone number on the SMS/MMS

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - Used to select files for encryption

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - Used to save decrypted files
