This application introduces a new facility for reading numbers using mobile camera.
Users need only to hold and show numbers clearly on the camera and the application will automatically scan and detect the numbers.
The application allows users to either call and copy the numbers directly or share them to others.
In case of miss reading any of the numbers, users can easily repeat the process by using the refresh icon.
Users do not need to fit or align numbers to match a predefined rectangle.
A very efficient way is introduced to facilitate the checking process of the recognized numbers.
Flash mode can be enabled in dark places without affecting the recognition performance.
Does not need users to put the card on a surface or table, the app does not need any notification from users to start reading the number, so, they can use their second hand to hold the card when being outdoors.
Next versions will support english text and 1D barcode recognition, in addition to other known codes like IBAN and ICR.
Technical Notes:-
The App size (without ads library) is 1.1 MB including the internal OCR training data.
The allocated memory by the App is very small and all OCR calculations are optimized for speed and tested on more than 4000 documents to avoid memory leaks or crashes.
Does not require any predefined patterns, the internal algorithm is flexible enough to handle all cases.
The internal OCR is optimized to handle -+10 degrees of skewing.
The algorithm is tested under different criteria and lighting.
Average reading time is 3 seconds.
The current UI shows the main functionality and can be modified according to the customer's requirements.
