About NODE+chroma

For designers, manufacturers, retailers, and end users, a color is only as good as it is useful. NODE+chroma scans surface color into iOS and Android apps. For accurate matching, quality control, specification, and more, regardless of lighting conditions.
The magic is in the module.
NODE+chroma uses a special end-cap and LED light to compute true sRGB, CIE L*a*b*, and Hex values, regardless of ambient light. When color information is tested against MacBeth Color-Checker Calibration Target (measured under temperature 24°C ± 2°C ) there is better than 0.80 deltaE reading to reading consistency.
With a measurement area of 1.9 cm2, a measurement time of approximately (1) second, and Bluetooth connection to smart devices, NODE+chroma makes color scanning and communication truly mobile. The color graphic displayed on iOS or Android device is an approximate representation; specific color information is attained via numeric color data transmitted. Color collection and scan history are stored on the smart device.
+ This application requires an iPhone 4s (or newer) or an iPad 3 (or newer), an iPad Mini, or Android Samsung S3 & S4 phones, and a NODE sensor device with a NODE+chroma module.
