This application is designed to aid the user manage their laboratory supply inventory and reordering needs. It allows for organizing items into shopping lists, set automatic reorder points and then allows for calculating and sending orders . It is a real time saving application that streamlines the management and ordering of laboratory supplies directly from Midland Scientific.

App offers some great features:

Multiple Inventory Lists – You can organize your items into one or more inventory lists.

Automatic Reordering – Application can set minimum and maximum inventory quantities and then calculate orders based upon those set quantities.

Search – With the search feature, you can quickly and painlessly find what you are looking for. You can search by Midland part number, supplier part number , product description . If you only know partial keyword, you can also use a wild card symbol ( %).

Barcode Scanner – Do not want to manually type in a part number? No worries. You can use barcode scanner to make product identification fast and easy.

Manually Order – You can manually add items to the shopping cart.

Purchase History – Application will keep a history of items purchased in the past.

New features:

a. Display price and availability on the search results page: Users can view product’s price and stock availability for an item in the search results page. This information is not displayed by default . User must click on the button below the product to display both

b. Display price and availability on the Item Detail page: Item detail page will display price and stock availability for an item, by default.

c. Obsolete and discontinued products: When user tries to add obsolete or discontinued items to the shopping cart, system will alert that the item is no longer valid.
