What is LuvIt!?
LuvIt! is an app-based, real-time micro donation service. Think of it as a virtual collection plate, or “passing the hat” with your smartphone.
Who uses LuvIt!?
Donors and recipients use LuvIt!. The recipients are people or organizations who have an audience but not necessarily a tangible product to sell and are probably just doing what they’re doing because they enjoy it, and the donors are good people who enjoy what the recipients are doing and want to give them a couple bucks so they can keep doing it.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Your donation may or may not be tax deductible, but that’s between you and the recipient and the IRS. LuvIt! will provide a receipt to both the donor and recipient stating that LuvIt! provided no goods or services in exchange for the donation, so you can save that with your tax forms just in case.
